Want to Adopt from Uganda?
The most visited page on this website is Uganda. It also brings the most questions. If you are looking for a real, honest adoption program with Uganda, you can use Across The World Adoptions in CA. They have a successful program and I recommend them. If you questions about the agency, I am happy to answer them!
Ana Needs A Home
We have been advocating strongly for Ana to find a home. She is wonderful! She is healthy and she will thrive within the walls of a loving family. Ana is post op Spina Bifida. She received surgery from a US team out of PA and recovered at Maria’s Big House of Hope in Luoyang, China. She now lives with a foster family as she waits to go to her forever home. Ana is healthy, smart and developmentally on track. She does not have sensation in her lower limbs and cannot control her bowels. Please educate yourself on the treatments for incontinence before you run away scared from that diagnosis! There are ways to manage it! Ana deserves a family just like the rest of us! This photo and video was taken in 12/2013. Ana, we are working hard for you baby girl! Ana has a $3000 grant available to her through ATWA. Contact http://www.atwatogether.org for more information.

New Waiting Children Listed.
Last week I was assigned new children that I have the honor of advocating for and my oh my how special each of them are! Please read about these deserving children!
Meet Ryan! DOB 6/2009. He has a right anterior archanoid cyst and a weak left leg. His physical and mental development is delayed, but he is capable of learning! He can move independently, walking, jogging, up and down stairs but his movement is a little abnormal. He can do simple things like moving chairs, feeding himself, play games, dress himself, use the toilet and fold clothes. He is capable of doing so much more if he gets the attention he needs! There are three videos available of Ryan for interested families. They highlight how intelligent he is and his potential to be amazing!
Molly is a sweet and playful girl. Her DOB is 3/2004. Molly can sit, stand and walk, jump, run and go up and down stairs independently. She can make movements with teacher’s guidance. Regarding language development, she can communicate with nannies and teachers. She get’s along well with other children and likes to help others. She is able to play with toys, clap hands and dance with music, and participate in outdoor activities. Molly’s special need is mental retardation. Give her a chance. Look at her file!
Cody is ready to come home! His DOB is 12/2007. He has CHD. He is described as a very happy child. He has waited far too long. He could truly blossom with a family of his own. Cody had heart surgery on December 3, 2013. He can have simple communication with adults and likes to imitate. He can recite simple Chinese poems and can recognize some colors. He can stand, walk and jump. Since he just had surgery he has to take it slow. He likes to swing, slide and play with toys. He is friendly, likes to be with his teachers and plays well with the other children.
Olivia has a $2000 grant! Her DOB is 3/2007. She has DS. She is described as restless and brave. She likes to dance and she is able to focus on activities like stringing beads and coloring worksheets. She is a confident girl! She needs a family!
Each of these waiting children are listed with Across The World Adoptions. You can find more info about them and other waiting children at www.atwatogether.org.
Grants Available for Waiting Children
Each of the following children have $2000 adoption grants available to them through ATWA (www.atwakids.org)! Please consider making these children your own and sharing their stories with everyone you know. Let’s work together to find families for each of these children.
First we have Noah. A baby boy born 3/2012 with DS.
The second child that has received a $2000 grant is Ana. Ana is so sweet. Her DOB is 1/2011. Her special need is post op spina bifida. She has no use of her lower limbs and is incontinent. Ana is very healthy and a video is available of her if you are interested.
Our third child who has received an adoption grant of $2000 is Benjamin. Let’s get real honest here, the only reason Benjamin is waiting is because he is a boy. He is healthy! His DOB is 5/2010 and he is post op CL/CP. Bring him home!
All of these children are designated to Across the World Adoptions. You can learn more about them at http://www.atwatogether .org

Matthew has a grant
A few I weeks ago I posted about Matthew. I heard tonight that Matthew has an adoption grant available that will cover almost if not all of the adoption expenses. Spread the word! Matthew ages out in September. He is hoping for a family of his own. You can read more about Matthew here, as I was a guest blogger at Love Without Boundaries a few weeks ago.
Remember Ben
A few days ago I posted about a boy named Ben who lives in China. In July he ages and will no longer be able to be adopted. He has lived in his orphanage his entire life and has a $20,000 adoption grant available for him. He is aware of this grant and he is aware that no one has come forward to call him their own. Until two days ago. He learned that he has a family who is making him their son! I just want you all to know that advocating for these kids WORKS. Don’t hesitate to pass those stories along. They change people’s lives and it is important. You can read Ben’s previous post here.
