I am an adoptive mother of one. After going through the International process, I learned that the adoption laws, fees, requirements and many other aspects are ever changing and it can become quite overwhelming. My goal is to help prospective adoptive parents stay up to date on the latest adoption news. Also, to provide a one stop place for new information. I am by no means a licensed professional and all information posted is strictly a product of my personal research. I encourage everyone to research on their own. Hi! It was great meeting you and your gorgeous daughter today at The Wild Pineapple. I always enjoy meeting adoptees and parents who have adopted. You remind me of my mom and me…20 years ago. In fact, during our daily phone conversation today my mom was thrilled to hear about you guys. I don’t know if she shared your concerns of how I would feel about being adopted, but I think she now realizes that they did a great job raising me and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I realize, as I’m sure your daughter will one day, how blessed I am.
